Streaming four days of live performances, celebration and reflection from the US Mall might seem a technical marvel to some, but New Media Mill delivered without a hiccup.
The Names Foundation brought its world famous AIDS quilt and programming to the Mall in July 2012 at a time when crucial federal funding for AIDS research hung in the balance.
“Who knew live streaming from the U.S. National Mall could be so easy? With New Media Mill’s microwave and fiber optic transmission service we were able to reach an audience far beyond those gathered on The National Mall for our program and events,” said Julie Rhoad, Executive Director of The NAMES Project Foundation. “New Media Mill gave us a new way to reach the world with ease at an affordable price.”
