Group Documents Crumbling Battlefield
A group of retired Park Service rangers had to get the attention of the news media and their former colleagues scattered across the country. Streaming video offered a fast, easy solution.
Rusting canons, crumbling buildings, frustrated historians. It is hard to exaggerate the deteriorating conditions that existed in 2003 at our nation's foremost Civil War battlefield park: Gettysburg.
The Campaign to Save America's Lands commissioned New Media Mill to document the tragedy and prepare a streaming media report.
CSAL's Chris Fitsimon, a former newsman, joined us for a day of shooting at Gettysburg.
Shooter: Lantz Barbour
Edit: Stew Harris
